THE GENDER AGENDA

Morrison’s paean to male bashing blames men for costing society heavily: ending up in prison, the S&L; disaster, etc. Yet she concedes that men are “reared like little Sun Kings.” And who is it that rears males that way? Mothers, of course--and girlfriends, sisters and wives, so trained by their mothers. If we can tolerate being considered politically incorrect, we should begin to examine this aspect of the mother’s role.
