Covington Development Group: Citing the deteriorating residential real estate market in California, the Fullerton company reported a quarterly loss of $1.2 million, or 8 cents per share, contrasted with a profit of $455,000, or 3 cents a share, last year.
Quarterly revenue for the real estate development company fell 39% to $9.7 million from $16 million last year.
In the first six months, the company lost $2 million, contrasted with earnings of $655,000 for the same period last year. Revenue for the period dropped 35% to $18.2 million this year from $28 million last year.
