Genisco Reports Loss for 3rd Quarter

Genisco Technology Corp., the Anaheim maker of computer products and electronic components, said it lost $87,403, or less than 1 cent a share, for its third fiscal quarter. That compared to a loss of $53,908, or 2 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter, which ended June 30, dropped 15% to $5 million from $5.9 million. For the latest nine-month period, the company reported a profit of $1.1 million, or 6 cents a share, on revenue of $16 million.
The earnings figure included a gain of $1.4 million from a debt-for-equity exchange. For the corresponding period a year earlier, Genisco posted a loss of $70,052, or 3 cents a share, on revenue of $17.7 million.
