Lighting Elements
Can Lamps. They are recessed in the ceiling.
* Dimmers. They can change a room’s lighting arrangement quickly and are easily installed. They are one of the most inexpensive and easiest ways to change a room’s lighting.
* Spots. They have a narrow beam and illuminate specific areas or objects.
* Strip lighting. This consists of a strip of light produced by neon or other lighting that is usually used behind a ledge or shelf, under cabinets or along stairways.
* Track lighting. This lighting is good when recessed lighting is either impossible or too expensive.
* Uplights. These are tall, can-like fixtures or small spotlights that are on the floor and cast beams up to the ceiling. They can be dramatic behind plants, both indoors and outdoors.
* Wallwashers. They wash uniform light on the wall and are especially good for walls with artworks on them.
