Northridge Soccer Team Rebounds at Home, 2-0
Cal State Northridge rebounded from its worst loss since 1985 with a 2-0 win over visiting San Jose State in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation non-division soccer match at North Campus Stadium on Friday night.
The victory was the 16th in a row at home for Northridge (3-2), which had been blown out, 5-1, by host Fresno State in an MPSF opener Wednesday.
Freshman Ron Lou scored his first goal--the only one Northridge would need--on a penalty kick at the 19-minute mark.
