Notre Dame 35, St. Francis 6--Notre Dame (5-3, 3-0) scored on its two first possessions and its defense limited host St. Francis to 100 total yards.

Ray Hernandez capped Notre Dame’s first possession by scoring on a five-yard run. A few minutes later, Lei Malieitulua scored one of his two touchdowns on a one-yard plunge.

Malieitulua rushed for 89 yards in 19 carries.

St. Francis (3-4, 1-2) averted the shutout when Rudy Martinez hit Chris McAlister on a 12-yard touchdown pass with two minutes to play.
