Mike Holleren’s Nelson/Marek 70 Starship I from the Long Beach Yacht Club leaped from sixth to first place and had a 12-mile lead with 134 miles to go in the Los Angeles club’s race to Cabo San Lucas. Mike Campbell’s Victoria, also from LBYC, is second.
