L.A. Baptist 21, Valley Christian 3--Junior Zack Hernandez passed for two touchdowns and ran for a third to power L.A. Baptist at Monroe High.
The Knight defense forced five turnovers and Hernandez finished with 151 passing yards. He threw touchdown passes of 65 and 25 yards to Jim Romero and also scored on a six-yard run.
