Giem’s 3-Pointers Pace Christ College Irvine

Stacy Giem scored 27 points to lead Christ College Irvine to a 97-85 victory over Western New Mexico in a first-round game at the Western New Mexico women’s basketball tournament Thursday in Silver City, N.M.

Giem made five of 13 shots from three-point range to lead the Eagles, who shot 52% from the field. Gitte Mejer and Stacy Kirch each scored 20 points and Genevieve Graff added 17 for CCI.
