THOUSAND OAKS : Golf Shop Worker Robbed of Cash Bag
A man armed with a handgun grabbed a bag containing cash and credit card vouchers from a worker in the Los Robles Golf Shop in Thousand Oaks on Tuesday, officials said.
Sue Planter, an employee of the shop at 299 S. Moorpark Road, was taking the daily receipts into the shop’s office about 4:30 p.m. when the suspect grabbed the bag, pulled out a gun and pointed it at her, according to a report by Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike De Los Santos.
The suspect was last seen headed toward the freeway in a light-colored pickup truck.
None of the four to five customers in the store at the time of the robbery were injured, De Los Santos said.
