Houston is an electrifying vocalist with the ability to do with a song what Shakespeare was able to do with a sentence. She undoubtedly deserves to be measured in the same league as such legends as Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross. What she doesn’t deserve is the brutal, relentless hatchet job done to her by the press.
