Former World Boxing Council junior-welterweight champion Roger Mayweather of Las Vegas stopped Gilberto Flores of Los Angeles in the third round of their scheduled 10-round bout at the Hollywood Palladium. Mayweather won the first two rounds before flooring Flores with a left uppercut in the third.
