Rock to the Rescue: Rocker Alice Cooper was scheduled to hand over $13,000 to a mortgage company Thursday to save the Riverside home of Patrick Kelly, who in frustration painted the house with a likeness of Cooper and psychedelic images when he was unable to sell it. The painting job drew Cooper’s attention, and he held a rock ‘n’ roll garage sale there Nov. 22 to help cover Kelly’s debts. Cooper’s payment will make the Kelly account current, but does not pay off the loan. Kelly, who is unemployed, bought the house hoping to make money by reselling it.
