Edison Takes Title at Santa Maria Righetti
Matt Allen scored 16 points to help Edison to a 54-47 victory over Santa Maria Righetti in the championship game of the Santa Maria Valley boys’ basketball tournament late Saturday night.
Micah Kroeger, who scored 11 points, was named the tournament most valuable player. Teammate Ben Beard was named to the all-tournament team. Edison is 5-2.
