James A. Musick, former USC fullback and an NFL all-star in 1934, died Tuesday at 82. Musick also was a former Orange County sheriff.
Musick played for the Trojans from 1929-31, helping them to Rose Bowl victories in 1930 and 1932, then played with the Boston Braves-Redskins, now the Washington Redskins, until a knee injury ended his career in 1936.
