More Fan Reaction to Investigation of Huskies

As a graduate of the University of Washington, I am shocked by the allegations about the Husky football program published in The Times. If true, then the few charged mindlessly zealous football boosters and drug-selling athletes must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I trust Danny Robbins and Elliott Almond are examining sports programs of other colleges with the same religious fervor they reviewed Washington. If not, then they sound like bitter USC or UCLA grads looking for any way to beat the Huskies and get back to the Rose Bowl.

I have no doubt that when their program is compared to other universities, Washington will be the national champion.
