BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : MONDAY’S GAMES
Jefferson 110, Los Angeles JV 61--Anthony Martin scored 21 points to lead the Democrats to an easy victory over the visiting Romans in an L.A. Invitational tournament game.
The outmanned Romans never had a chance as Jefferson took an early 19-2 run and never looked back. Gaona Lennett led the Romans with 22 points.
The Romans JV were playing in their second L.A. Invitational because the tournament organizer needed teams to fill the field.
Records: Jefferson 8-3.
