Playa Vista Project’s Source of Support

I would like to know just who supports the gargantuan Playa Vista project, which we are informed is about to gain final approval. Certainly not the people who live or work in the areas most directly threatened by increased pollution, gridlock and crowding.

In conversations with many such people, I have not heard a single positive word about the prospects of this so-called “city-within-a-city.”

Is it only those elected representatives and self-styled community activists who have cozied up with the developers I wonder? Tom Hayden has it right: Let’s rethink Playa Vista, before it’s too late.
