FYI: Speaking of Walter Cronkite, the veteran anchor may be getting back into TV news. Fictional TV news, that is. Cronkite has been offered a recurring role as a reporter on CBS’ “Murphy Brown,” his spokeswoman said. She said the offer was informal and that she expects Cronkite will discuss it when he returns from Europe in a few weeks.
