A New Look: PBS is planning to change its familiar network logo. The change, network officials say, is aimed at reflecting the fact that public TV serves viewers of different generations and ethnic groups. The network’s animated call letters will remain in the same style, but out of the animated “P” in “PBS” will come animated representations of viewers of various ages and ethnicities. The new logo will be sent to PBS producers and stations next week.
