Odetics Quarterly Profit Doubles

The technology company Odetics Inc. reported that its profit for the latest fiscal quarter doubled to $123,000, or 3 cents a share, from $60,000, or 1 cent a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the company’s third quarter, which ended Dec. 31, rose slightly to $17.2 million from $17 million. For the first three quarters of its fiscal year, the company lost $662,000, or 14 cents a share, compared to a loss of $990,000, or 22 cents a share, a year earlier. Nine-month revenue rose 2% to $51.1 million from $50.2 million.
