Ill-Lustrious Nominees: As Hollywood awaits to explode with the glories of the Oscar nominations on Wednesday, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation has come out with its nominees for the 13th annual Razzie Awards, “dis-honoring the worst achievements in film.” Contending for worst picture: “The Bodyguard,” “Christopher Columbus: The Discovery,” “Final Analysis,” “Newsies” and “Shining Through.” Worst actor: Kevin Costner (“The Bodyguard,” which also inspired a worst new star nomination for Costner’s haircut), Michael Douglas (“Basic Instinct” and “Shining Through”), Jack Nicholson (“Hoffa” and “Man Trouble”), Sylvester Stallone (“Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot”) and Tom Selleck (“Folks” and “Mr. Baseball”). Worst actress: Kim Basinger (“Cool World” and “Final Analysis”), Lorraine Bracco (“Medicine Man” and “Traces of Red”), Melanie Griffith (“Shining Through” and “A Stranger Among Us”), Whitney Houston (“The Bodyguard”) and Sean Young (“Love Crimes”). Winners will be announced March 28, the day before the Oscars.
