Impact Communications Opens Agoura Hills Unit

Impact Corporate Communications, a Ventura firm that produces and stages corporate meetings and sales conferences throughout the country, has opened a satellite unit in Agoura Hills. The new site will be used mainly for technical work involved in the presentations, said company President Fred Gerhart.

“We’re multimedia, which means we use slides, video, computer projections and even lasers,” Gerhart said. He recalled recently using lasers to introduce a company’s logo. “It was very exciting, with the music building up and the logo being etched on the screen, and smoke pouring out of the laser beams.”

Gerhart said his privately held firm’s clients have included Amgen Inc., Kinko’s Service Corp., GTE Corp., Teledyne, J.D. Power & Associates and Hyatt Hotels.
