Diodes Reports Profit of $127,828 in 4th Quarter

Diodes Inc., a Chatsworth-based maker of electronic components, reported a profit of $127,828 for its fourth quarter, up from $19,473 a year earlier, on a 33% climb in revenue.

For the three months that ended Dec. 31, Diodes said its revenue jumped to $5.07 million, from $3.82 million in the same period the previous year. The company said it was the first time in its 33-year history that its quarterly sales surpassed $5 million.

For all of 1992, Diodes’ revenue increased 25% from the previous year, to $18.4 million from $14.7 million. Net earnings last year were $404,986, up 53% from $264,732 in 1991. Diodes is a supplier of semiconductor rectifiers.
