Fixed-Rate Mortgages Rise Slightly to 7.47%

WASHINGTON — Interest on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages rose slightly last week for the first time in 10 weeks, the Federal Home Loan Bank Corp. said Thursday.
The new rate, 7.47%, was up from 7.44% a week earlier and the lowest in 20 years.
