Singing Against Censors: Aerosmith will receive a special “Right to Rock” honor at the seventh annual Boston Music Awards April 7 for its effort to fight censorship. The band, which got its start in Boston 20 years ago, donated $10,000 last year to a Massachusetts Institute of Technology museum to replace a grant denied by the National Endowment for the Arts for an exhibition that included depictions of genitalia.
