Arie Luyendyk, the 1990 Indy 500 champion, crashed his ord-Cosworth Lola during a practice run at Phoenix International Raceway.
Luyendyk was treated at the track’s infield medical center for neck and shoulder injuries. He was hospitalized and treated for a mild left-shoulder sprain.
