More Golf, Less Overtime
I agree with Erik J. Madsen (TV Times, Feb. 14) when he wrote about the hour delay of the golf tournament because of the basketball game going into overtime on NBC.
Why can’t the networks show sports events as scheduled and give overtime game scores as updates? This always happens to golf, like last Sunday (Feb. 7) when the Doral Open was delayed for 35 minutes because of an overtime basketball game.
