Flamemaster Boosts Stake in PerfectData to 9.7%

Flamemaster Corp., a Sun Valley-based maker of flame-retardant coatings and high-performance sealants used mainly in the aerospace industry, said it increased its stake in PerfectData Corp. to about 9.7%.

Flamemaster said it recently bought about 70,000 additional shares of stock of PerfectData, a Simi Valley marketer of computer-care products, at prices ranging from $1.44 to $1.63 a share. With the acquisition, made for investment purposes, Flamemaster said it now has a total of 331,400 shares of PerfectData.
