An Oxnard shipping manager for the Navy and a Moorpark ranch manager have been appointed by Gov. Pete Wilson to serve four-year terms on the Ventura County Fair Board, fair officials said Friday.

The appointments of Tony Grey and Charles Schwabauer were made to fill two vacancies on the board of the 31st District Agricultural Assn., the official name of the fair board.

They replace directors Tony Caezza of Santa Paula and Donald Leach of Ventura, whose terms expired in January. Both outgoing directors were first appointed in 1985 and served two full terms in the unpaid positions.
