Happy Birthday: Fans of Jimmy Stewart are invited to send birthday greetings for the actor’s 85th birthday on May 20. In a repeat of the scene from Stewart’s classic film “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”--where as an idealistic freshman senator he receives tons of mail from his constituents in the midst of a filibuster--cards and letters from fans around the world will be delivered to Stewart during a tribute and birthday party at the Regent Beverly Wilshire on May 22. Letters addressed to Stewart should be sent to P.O. Box 85-JS, Hollywood 90078.
