Rancho Santiago College on Wednesday will honor about 400 Latino students who have distinguished themselves with high grades.

Honorees include students who have maintained a 3.0 or higher grade-point average, said Henry Kertman, a spokesman for the Rancho Santiago Community College District.

The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. in Phillips Hall and feature Manuel Gomez, a vice chancellor at UC Irvine, as the keynote speaker.
