Right-handed pitcher Brandon Witkow of Taft High will play at Nevada Las Vegas next season.
Witkow, who on Tuesday pitched a 2-1 victory over El Camino Real, the state’s fourth-ranked team, said he received a partial scholarship.
Witkow is 8-1 with an earned-run average of 2.50. Taft teammates Justin Siegel (North Carolina State) and Gabe Kapler (Cal State Fullerton) also have earned NCAA Division I scholarships.
