HBO to Launch Spanish-Language Channel: HBO will launch a Spanish-language version of the popular pay cable TV channel beginning in October. Called HBO en Espanol, the new channel will contain many of the same movies, original programming and sporting events already seen in English on HBO. The move follows HBO’s launch last year of a Spanish-language pay TV channel in Latin America. HBO said the new channel will be available in most of the country’s Latino markets on a dedicated channel.
