Davis Cup Match Set for Charlotte
The United States Tennis Assn. chose Charlotte, N.C., on Wednesday as the site of the U.S. Davis Cup qualifying-round match against Bermuda in September.
The USTA will supervise construction of a hard-court surface at the Olde Providence Racket Club for the Sept. 24-26 match.
The Los Angeles Tennis Center at UCLA was one of the sites under consideration for the event.
