WORLD IN BRIEF : CUBA : U.S. Boat, 4 Florida Residents Seized

Cuban authorities announced the capture of a powerful U.S-registered boat and its crew of four Florida-based Cubans two miles north of Havana. The Cuban-exile Florida residents taken into custody were said to be unharmed and reportedly admitted they violated Cuban territorial waters. They were quoted as saying that they came to pick up Cubans who were to wait for them on the coast for transport to the United States.
