California Split (Cinemax Monday at 4:10 a.m.) is one of Robert Altman’s most unjustly neglected films, with George Segal and Elliott Gould as a couple of compulsive gamblers who are losers even when they’re winning at the tables.

With Harry Dean Stanton and Emilio Estevez.
