33 Arrested for Drunk Driving
The number of drunk-driving arrests in Ventura County since the start of the Fourth of July weekend stood at 33 Sunday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The motorists were arrested between 6 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Sunday. Special intensified patrols for the holiday weekend are scheduled to end at midnight tonight, the CHP said.
A final tally of weekend arrests will be released Tuesday.
