Jumping Ahead: Irvine-based Claim Jumper Restaurants is doing a hefty business, according to Restaurant Hospitality, a trade magazine that reports on the nation’s restaurant industry. On a sales-per-unit basis, Claim Jumper’s eight locations each finished in the magazine’s list of the top 100 independent restaurants nationwide.
The company’s top location, in the City of Industry, placed 26th nationally with estimated sales of $6.2 million. That restaurant led the Claim Jumper pack in last year’s survey, when it ranked 43rd with sales of $6.2 million.
