Man’s Body Found Floating in Lake
PALMDALE — The body of a man wearing a dress, who had apparently been severely beaten, was found floating Monday in Una Lake, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
A man collecting cans sighted the body in the water about 8:30 a.m., Deputy Benita Hinojos said.
The dead man, who suffered “blunt force trauma” to his entire body, was described as about 60 years old, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was dressed in a black pullover top, a black satin dress with spaghetti straps and light-colored women’s slip-on shoes.
The body remained unidentified Monday, Hinojos said.
