MCI Must Reveal All Its Rates: The ruling by U.S. District Judge Stanley S. Harris in Washington came in a battle between MCI Communications and American Telephone & Telegraph Co., the dominant long-distance company. AT&T; sued MCI last month, accusing it of ignoring a Federal Communications Commission order that required MCI to file all of its interstate long-distance rates. AT&T; has always been required to file all of its rates with the FCC. The company won an appeals court ruling in November that other long-distance carriers must do likewise. MCI contended it had complied with an FCC order issued May 4.
