Glendale Historical Society Has New Slate of Officers
The Glendale Historical Society’s board of directors has elected the following officers: president, David Smith; vice president, Bill Shepherd; secretary, Dan Cabrera; treasurer, Richard Montgomery.
Elected to the board were Caroline Beniasians and continuing board members Doyle Kutch and Helen Wrede.
* The Glendale Regional Arts Council reelected Laurice Brown for a second term as president. Other officers are first vice president of programs, Marcus Eley; recording secretary, Jean Marie Wall; treasurer, Terry Dillon; and second vice president of finance, Susan Kaufman.
New directors are Fran Benedict, Don Collins, Joan Margolis-West, Mike Sholer, Sue Ann Stout and Patti Wiggins, with returning directors Ruby deVera, Norman Mamey, Ron Pekar and Carl Raggio.
* The Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation has appointed David E. Edwards, of Planned Gift Associates of Claremont, their associate director of planned giving.
Edwards, who has more than 13 years of experience in the field, will make presentations as a representative of the foundation for those interested in learning about estate planning and planned giving.
