Borsalino (Cinemax Monday at 2:20 a.m.) is Jacques Deray’s entertaining and stylish 1970 gangster picture, starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Alain Delon and set in Marseilles in the 1930s.

Grand Isle (TNT Tuesday at 11:35 p.m.), Mary Lambert’s intimate, exquisite 1991 adaptation of Kate Chopin’s 1899 novel “The Awakening,” charts the sexual, and more important, creative blossoming of a young woman (Kelly McGillis) who has married into the rigid, stifling world of New Orleans Creole aristocracy.

The Man in the Moon (TMC Wednesday at 4:35 p.m.) Remarkably powerful and distinctive coming-of-age drama set in the South in the ‘50s and directed superbly by Robert Mulligan.
