Betsy King, who won this tournament in 1990 and 1991, is in a four-way tie at 71.

Lunn had four birdies, with her lone bogey coming on the par-five, 430-yard 15th hole.

She competed on the European tour before playing in the LPGA qualifying tournament last year, where she tied for 19th place. On the European tour, she won six titles and her sister, Mardi, captured the Ladies European Open last week.

Flood waters from the Missouri River forced the opening round of the Nike Dakota Dunes Open at South Dakota to be reduced to 17 holes playing at a par of 69.

The green of the par-three, 213-yard eighth hole was cut off from the rest of the course by water that covered an access bridge.
