Man Shot Outside Sylmar Pizza Parlor

SYLMAR — A man was shot several times outside a pizza parlor Wednesday but was expected to survive, police said.
Police found the victim lying in the parking lot outside Shakey’s Pizza Parlor at 13701 Foothill Blvd., with several gunshot wounds about 3:30 p.m., Los Angeles Police Lt. David Baca said.
The man, whom police have been unable to identify, was transported to Holy Cross Medical Center, where he was in fair condition Wednesday evening, Baca said.
Police found a presumed getaway car a short distance from the pizza parlor, Baca said.
Police have no motive for the attack, he said.
