CAMARILLO : Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Is Identified
A motorcyclist killed in a crash near Point Mugu over the weekend has been identified as 60-year-old Robert Thomas Jordan of Camarillo, authorities said.
Jordan had been driving his motorcycle north on Las Posas Road near Pacific Coast Highway when he lost control at a curve and was thrown off the bike into an embankment. The motorcycle landed on top of Jordan, killing him instantly, according to the California Highway Patrol.
An autopsy performed Monday revealed that Jordan, a retired civil servant, died of multiple internal injuries. Authorities are unsure when the accident occurred, but Jordan’s body was discovered Sunday afternoon, said Deputy Coroner Dale Zentzis.
