SIMI VALLEY : School Board Names New Administrator
An administrator from the Barstow Unified School District, Ralph E. Wilson, has been named assistant superintendent in charge of administrative services for the Simi Valley Unified School District.
The school board approved Wilson’s hiring on Tuesday, and a contract was being negotiated through the end of the week. If an agreement is reached, Wilson will replace Mary Beth Wolford, who took over the district’s top job after the retirement last month of Supt. Robert Purvis.
Wilson has been an assistant superintendent responsible for business services in Barstow. He previously handled similar duties in the Reef Sunset Unified School District.
