Try Another Tack on Street Races

* The tactics of police departments to catch and prosecute street races (Valley Editorials, Aug. 1) are all wrong.

How about working with them? The police should set up drag strips, check their seat belts, tires and brakes. They would save the cities and counties hundreds of thousands of dollars and have a good time doing it.
