10 Maui Resort Hotels Team Up to Reduce Room Rates : Discount packages are available at lodgings on three-mile stretch of Kaanapali Beach.

Ten major hotels on the Kaanapali “resort row,” on the Hawaiian island of Maui, have joined together to lure senior travelers with special discount rates and packages.

Kaanapali, situated on a three-mile stretch of white-sand beach, is three miles from the historic whaling town of Lahaina and also has its own shopping center, Whalers Village, which has more than three dozen shops and restaurants. A free trolley shuttle connects all 10 hotels, Whalers Village, local golf courses and Lahaina.
