King World Buys Stake in Crystal Dynamics: King World Productions Inc., a leading syndicator of television game shows, has agreed to acquire 10% of the start-up video game company headed by former 20th Century Fox President Strauss Zelnick. The $7.5-million investment comes several weeks after Time Warner Inc.’s Home Box Office took an equal stake in the Palo Alto-based firm.
